Customer returns have improved year on year over the last 3 years. From 1.5% in 2011 down to 1.4% in 2012 and 1.0% in 2013. In 2014, the current performance is running at 0.75%.
This is backed up by the three ISO accreditations –ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO27001 and regular Quality Management meetings with departmental heads every month to discuss quality and processes.
FLP also invest heavily in packaging, using memory foam and airbags to ensure that the package gets to its destination safely, this has resulted in only 0.04% of returns/RMA’s being caused by inadequate or poor packaging, that’s 1 spare part in 31,250 shipped by FLP.
